We supply and export biodegradable masterbatch (film grade).

• Namely biodegradable additive, biodegradable compound, biodegradable composite.
• Not free of PE.
• Applications: Film, bag, glove, apron, table cloth, rain coat, plant pot etc.
• No need to change conventional facility. Film blowing extruder with screw of length/diameter¡Ý25:1 and the blown ratio¡Ý1:3.
• Light yellow in color, starch fragrance, hydroscopic, biodegradable, anti-static, pellet round in shape.
• Adding ratio: 30-50%.
• No stimulation, innoxious, harmless, good plastification and melting flow, regular granule.
• Better flexibility and printability.
• Starch-based material absorbs moisture therefore pack it tightly. If the moisture exceeds the standard, have a drying before use.
• Due to the removal of moisture during processing, the tensile strength & elongation percentage reach the best condition after biodegradable plastics are finished in 24-hour.
• Before and after production, rinse and flush processing facility.
• If it's optimal processing temperature, a pleasant baked flour fragrance can be smelt; if there is a burning smell therefore reduce temperatures accordingly.
• Processing temperature is similar to processing LDPE.

Degradation mechanism

• Natural starch in film is eroded or swallowed by microorganism; film begins biodegradation.
• Film is made from starch and PE. Starch in film biodegrades, PE definitely degrades too. Molecular chain begins degradation or resolved, it becomes shorter and shorter, lighter and lighter, polymer turns into monomer.
