Descriptions:

CaCO3 masterbatch (air-breathable grade) typically endows PE film with air permeability, but CaCO3 contains a little moisture, which must be removed thoroughly.
Our Desiccant Masterbatch (air-permeable film grade) is a new functional additive specially developed to solve the water problem in casting air-permeable or breathable film attached on baby diapers and sanitary pads.

Introductions:

Both baby diapers and sanitary pads use gas-permeable film.
For the sake of gas-permeable effect, add air-breathable masterbatch.
Air-breathable masterbatch contains carrier resin and inorganic CaCO3 filler specially refined.
CaCO3 (>1000mesh) with fine particle size, and spherical micro-structure, which forms narrow space (gas pore) among globular particles.
Air-breathable masterbatch contains little moisture during processing. In addition, CaCO3 filler itself contains little moisture.
Sanitary substance requires high quality, therefore above-said moisture must be removed for producing gas-permeable film.
Ordinary desiccant masterbatch is not good for high standard gas-permeable film, professional grade recommended.
Professional desiccant masterbatch combines comprehensive improvements of process, dehydration and PH value in respect of preparing gas-permeable film.

Pellet : White. Very hard (unable to break granule to piece by finger).
Method of usage: Same as use color masterbatch.
Validity: If expose pellet in open air, valid within minimal 48-120 hours.
Adding ratio (weight basis) : 0.5-1.5 %. Depend on moisture degree.
Weight of moisture absorbed: = 20% weight of desiccant masterbatch, reference only.
