Desiccant Masterbatch: Remove Talc's Moisture

• Moisture Absorber Masterbatch is an additive used in sheet processing (vacuum forming dishware) to reduce or eliminate the effects of moisture content in Talc Powder Masterbatch to keep the process dry & stable despite humidity.
• Desiccant masterbatch contains hygroscopic substances that absorb moisture from the plastic matrix, including talc filler (powder)/masterbatch (granule).
• Sheet (vacuum forming dishware):
  Current status:
  Poor quality / low price really not good for high / medium quality sheet.
  Advantages:
  Thin / high speed forming sheet requires high dispersion / low dosage, white desiccant MB recommended, as sheet forming insists on quality prior to price. desiccant MB (low quality) not satisfy with physical property (sheet’s strength, smoothness, shade, gloss)
  Remarks:
  Sheet (vacuum forming dishware) (virgin PP + talc MB): use desiccant MB, because talc filler contains moisture, processing talc MB brings moisture too.
  Talc contains more moisture than CaCO3.
  Status in China:
  For dishware (exported to USA / Europe), use virgin resin, but add talc MB.
  Now many dishware factories use our desiccant MB (white granule) for dishware exporting, but they not use ours before, their suppliers not produce, but enclose desiccant MB (smelly, low price, gray granule, coarse desiccant powder) together with talc MB, then 5% of disqualified dishware (sheet broken / hole puncture), but after one dishware factory uses ours, disqualified dishware reduces a lot, its boss feels happy and surprised, then he introduces his friends to use ours too, depend on good reputation transmitted by oral, although we not market actively, but a lot of dishware factories come to buy from us, they not bargain price, as they make more money eventually.
